Christmas with the Owl Punch

The Stampin' Up Owl builder punch is versatile and addictive - and you can make so much more than just owls! Here are some ideas that I have CASED from Kreation Korner to make the punch art cuties on the cards below.  I only used the owl punch, so hand cut some of the accessories, like the santa hat, and hand drew the belt buckle with black marker pen. My kids have been having fun making these after school - no TV required and you can make use of tiny scraps of cardstock.

For card above:
Cardstock:  Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue, Whisper White, Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie
Ink:  Certainly Celery
Stamps:  French Filigree, Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Acc:  Owl punch, perfect polka dots EF, white gel pen, dazzling diamonds, dimensionals, 2 way glue pen

Cut off the ears and feet of the owl, punch out the necessary pieces then assemble as shown.  I have shown both sets of eyes, I prefer the larger eyes as they are easier to glue down!  The white gel pen adds a nice touch and is effective on dark cardstock for adding highlights.

Christmas owl card:
Cardstock:  Naturals Ivory, Whisper White, Wild Wasabi, Real Red, Basic Black, Daffodil Delight
Ink:  Wild Wasabi, Crumb Cake
Stamps:  Snow Swirled, Four the Holidays
Acc:  Owl punch, Lace ribbon border punch, Subtles DSP paper stack, dazzling diamonds, 2 way glue pen, dimensionals

Happy Stamping,
